The Horse of the Year Show (HOY) is South Africa’s premier equestrian event, celebrating excellence in horse showing and breeding. The 2025 edition took place from March 4 to March 9, 2025, at Kyalami Equestrian Park in Midrand, Gauteng.

At the end of September, our incredible youth riders and their beautiful horses took center stage at the SANESA Nationals, and what a show it was! From thrilling show jumping and captivating performance riding to elegant dressage, these young stars demonstrated the grace, agility, and heart of the Arabian horse in every stride.
We are beyond proud of the dedication and hard work that both the riders and their horses displayed. These moments are more than just competitions—they’re shaping the lives of our next generation, creating unforgettable memories and lifelong bonds. Feel free to tag a rider or friend who shared in the excitement and let’s celebrate our amazing youth and their outstanding Arabian horses!

What a spectacular time we had at this year’s Summershow! From start to finish, it was a celebration of talent, community, and the incredible Arabian horse.
We kicked things off with a delightful Cheese and Wine evening. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and camaraderie as everyone enjoyed the perfect start to an unforgettable show.
The arenas came alive with thrilling performances, breathtaking costumes, and outstanding horsemanship. Each competitor brought their A-game, making it a show to remember. A heartfelt thank you to our esteemed judges, Steve Lieblang and Gregory Goss, for their expert eyes and fair decisions.

From steep hills to stunning landscapes, this ride was not just a test of endurance but a celebration of our bond with these incredible animals. Thank you to all riders, support teams, and volunteers who made this event a tremendous success!
